Unfortunately for us Tribe fans, this is a great move for the White Sox!:argue:

Not a bad signing but the White Sox are a team in decline.

After the numbers that Mark put up last year, ( first losing season), he should be THANKFUL that he got a 4 year contract!!
Boston showed an early interest in Buehrle, but apparently didn't make an offer.

Jim Thome is the leading hitter on the White Sox active roster 277 average.
Their lead-off man was batting around 300 before he went on the DL.

They are an old, high-paid, underperforming team. Many of the baseball experts are predicting a "fire sale" there soon.

He IS home. And he doesn't want to come back and be part of the September swan song in Cleveland that has already started. I mean, here we are, in the All-Star break and Detroit ALREADY caught them after being about 8 games behind. Get ready Tribe fans. Get the crying towels out for the boo-hoo party.

Man you're testy today. Understandable after the Devil Rays lost 13 of their last 14.

They have 2 series' with the NYY and one with Bioston yet this month. This could get REALLY ugly !!
Already in LAST place by 4 games ! They could easily lose 102 - 105 games !!
