Great race last night in Daytona. Despite some big names being out of it early(Tony Stewart, Denny Hamlin, Dale Jr). Jamie McMurray edged out Kyle Busch(who won the Busch race earlier in the day, which I attended :tounge: ) by literally inches and they were wheel to wheel back and 4th the whole last 2 laps.

McMurray has come vey close so many times before. It was great to see him win it. And I'm sure he's espacially happy it happened at Daytona.

We'll see if Jeff Gordon can defend last years win at Chicago this weekend.
Look for RCR cars to do well on the 1.5 mile oval !!

Is this the first race at Chicago this year. I may be wrong but they race there twice a year right?

It's the only Cup race there this season, although the Busch series is also running there.
DAWGH8R-Gordon got his first-ever win there last year. It was done in very controversial style by bouncing Matt Kenseth out of the way at the end.
"This was an aggressive way to take the win. After the race Matt said 'I know for sure that it was intentional.' It looked to me as if Gordon could have cracked the throttle and raced Kenseth cleanly for the win. He simply decided to take the win aggressively. The fans voiced their displeasure after the race by throwing garbage on the track." One thing is for sure. He will not be invited to Wrigley Field again to sing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame." It was one of the worst renditions ever.

Mike Ditka did a REALLY bad job too !!!

But it's Ditka. He could have sung it in Spanish and nobody would've cared. He OWNS Chicago. Jeff Gordon doesn't have the same local Q rating.

Didn't Rosanne sing it once too ??? Or was that just the National Anthem at San Diego ??

I don't see any reference of her doing so but it's possible (as her fictional show was set in Illinois). John Goodman did on several occasions. When articles are written about bad singers, most have refer to Ozzy Osbourne and Jeff Gordon.
