“I would never do anything to jeopardize my career or the integrity of the game,” Peterson said. “I think what I got was a bad supply. I stopped taking it. Whatever it was, it was obviously a bad dose of it. I don’t want this to tarnish my character or what I stand for. I tell kids not to use drugs and to play fair. I don’t want anybody to think I’m a cheater. I’m far from a cheater.

I had to laugh at his quotes, sure is funny when someone has millions to lose they act as though it was everyone else's fault. "I think what I got was a bad supply" ?? Is your supplier shady Kenny, did he used to work for BALCO?? :doh2:

He's in trouble !! I doubt they'll entertain his "bad batch" theory. What a shame.:oops2:

That is never a good thing. Can someone on here provide a list of barred substances that lead to four-game suspensions in the NFL?

It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Here is a link to the .pdf file KENO !!

B. Discipline for Violations of the Law.A player will normally be subject to discipline up to and including suspension without
pay for four regular and/or post-season games for a first violation of the law related to
substances of abuse other than alcohol and for six regular and/or post-season games for a
second violation of the law related to substances of abuse other than alcohol. A player’s
treatment history may be considered by the Commissioner in determining the appropriate
degree of discipline. The suspension period may be extended if medically necessary, and,
if extended, may involve mandatory treatment if required by the Medical Director

I am sure Benedict is typing away on his laptop right now how much of a family and community guy Kenny is and how he would never do something like this and he must have been framed. Then later in the week we will all get a dose of a great guy story about Doss and how Kenny and Doss are just the best of friends and neither would ever do anything wrong. :poke:

From Todd Porter is his latest prep notes column:
"Why do I believe Peterson? Because there are plenty of players who test positive for steroids, and the league wasn't clear on what kind of positive test he had, and those players never comment on the suspension. "

Benedict is so predictable, I should have known he would put some "whoa is me" story about being involved with the national media as well. :sad2:

Shows you what I know. I didn't even know he was on the team. Third on the depth chart. Played three games last year with one tackle. How could I miss such production?

That's why he took the substances to get on the field-- Kenny has bounced to a few teams the last couple of years trying to find a good fit. A 4 game suspension is not that best thing to come along when your fighting for playing time or a roster spot! DE is a position that requires alot of versitility along with great strength! I wish him luck in his future!

Did you guys know that former Massillon Tiger-- Kenny Brown is his father?

Kenny "Boo Boo" Brown. I used to try and wrestle him at the Boys' Club, he was a "man-child" in his high school days, and I was a skinny little kid from Lorin Andrews. Needless to say, he kicked my ASS!!!!

Boo Boo was another like Scrap Dorsey. Just lower your head, keep your mouth shut and walk on by. Anything else would be extremely hazardous to your health. TC, I knew you weren't very smart but trying to wrestle Boo Boo Brown was just plain STUPID, my friend!! LOL.

Kenny lived next door to us on 3rd street when I was a child---- Travis and I would sing the song putting hs name in it because he was a mean dude if he was mad-----"bad, bad Boo Boo Brown, baddest man in the whole dam town"LOL

I have a feeling he will have a much harder time finding a team now. Suppose a team has a few injuries on the DL. They want someone immediate to come in and provide some depth. Peterson is available, but has to sit out 4 games because of the suspension. Would the team pass on him then for someone more immediate?
