Happy 4th of July to all ! Please be safe out there today. Have fun at your celebrations and picnics. Please remember that today is the day that we celebrate our INDEPENDENCE !!
We have our independence because we have young men and women that are willing to risk their lives for it. I know they have their own day on Veteren's Day, but today is also a day that I like to reflect on our soldiers.
Please remember a fallen hero today. If you know a current veteren, or current serving armed forces enlistee, THANK them.
It's days like today, where a self proclaimed "tough guy" like myself, realizes that I'm not near the "tough guy" that these men and women are. The ones that put it on the line EVERYDAY.
God bless our soldiers, and help them return home safely.
To our fallen soldiers and their families, THANK YOU, and may God be with you. I know that this must be a another tough day that plays a bad memory over & over in your minds.
Today I awake with thoughts of AARON SEESAN and his family. My heart goes out to them, as we celebrate our freedoms. Freedoms that we have, because of fine soldiers like Aaron.
Who would have ever thought, that the little snot-nose kid that sat behind me at the football games, pulled my hair, threw popcorn & confetti at me, squirted me with a water gun, and did his best to ANNOY me, would turn out to be twice the man that I could have ever wished to be ?? I sure miss that "little kid".
As I shed yet another tear for Aaron this morning, I ask all of you to REMEMBER all of our soldiers and their family's today.
To Tom and the rest of the clan, THANK YOU & GOD BLESS YOU.
