A 2yr old has been found dead in a neighbors swimming pool in Canal Fulton. According to the Rep the mother noticed the child missing this morning and the child was found soon afterward face down in the pool. What another TRAGEDY!

The neighbors could be at fault in this also if te pool wasn't properly secured as required by law to prevent this sort of thing from happening. Although kids have been known to squeeze through tight spaces. How many have we seen find their way into one of those claw machines. However, I would like to send out my condolences to the family. This is yet another horrible tragedy.

My God, a precious little 2 year old. How heartbreaking. Why in God's name is it so hard for people to use ordinary common sense anymore? A mother of 8 should know that you absolutely positively cannot let a little toddler out of your sight for a single minute! I know it can be a real royal pain in the rear sometimes having to stop and pick them up and carry them in and out with you or from room to room or w/e, constantly, but you really do just HAVE to do it. Even when that means taking them into the bathroom with you. It makes me wonder do people even use things like playpens anymore to confine their babies to safety?

The same thing with the neighbors, do they not know that children drown everyday in situations just like this? A child can drown in much less water than that. I am getting sick and tired of innocent little lives being lost at the expense of adults sheer stupidity and lack of common sense.

Kamd50,

You have a point here. No life that young needs to be lost. Thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
