I'm not even looking but if Vince Young isn't number 1 then this is a STUPID poll. The guy won the National Championship by being mobile. Enough said. Period. End of discussion.

Relax, he was number one ahead of Tommie Frazier (what happened to him?) and Steve McNair.

I answered my own question. Frazier is the Head Coach at Doane College.

I don't know a lot about them. But they ARE the Tigers.

Mobile QBs?? I know this was referring to the past 15 years; but does anyone recall our own Dennis Franklin (Michigan) and Cornelius Greene (Ohio State) dominating the Big 10 in the early '70s??

Smitty, feel free to broaden the discussion. I was only working with the article at hand. The QB position certainly has changed over the past 20 years (or so).

CarlE,
You have to hand it to Vince Young. To win two Rose Bowls let alone a national championship......that's mobile enough! He won my respect in leading the Longhorns from a 10-point deficit with six minutes to lead the Longhorns to a decisive win over Michigan (as much as I hated to see Michigan lose).
Vince is deserving of his recognition!!
