LOL! The Japanese love their vending machines. You would not believe the number of machines just around the train station near us and the treasures they dispense. I have never bought beer or alcohol from a machine but I will have to give it a try and let you know how it works. There was also talk about Coca Cola figuring out a way for the prices of cold drinks to go up as the temperature does. I don't think they have it down, yet, but you can be sure that will be coming to a vending machine near all of us in the future!

Swissie (who is off to buy alcohol from a vending machine with her two small daughters in tow just to see how it is done. I always said that a complete education is important!)
