It wasn't as big of a turnout as I would have expected, but still it was a blast. Absolutely beautiful weather and lots of food and fun, and....golfing!
I would hope next summer more people take advantage of the Massillon Alumni Golf Outing. I mean for what you pay, it's a bargain. There are tons of prizes, free drinks, free lunch, free dinner (steak and potatoes, etc), free Massillon hat - and catching up with friends! Can't beat it!

This is nothing against coach Stacy or the current booster club President. But, when Shepas was here the outing was packed. Most tees had two groups to start off. I am just wondering why the low turn-out. It is a good time and the food has always been very good.

Well there were two groups to tee off on the hole I started with, and I'm assuming many other holes as well - I just don't think it was advertised very well. We had a much better turnout last year. Usually the same guys show up each summer, so in that respect it makes it fun to see old friends!

I have golfed in this outing many times but did not this year. We usually new about the outing many weeks in advance and this year I found out about it around a week before so I think the advertising was not good this year. Also, the confusion about the price I am sure had an impact. Slider, out!!!
