While such a plan had its obvious benefits, I can understand the board's decision to pass at this time. It would have been a very tough sell for the voters too.

You guys can count on my yes vote. Some people I spoke to a couple people who said that some of the schools do need replacement and shouldn't be used at the current time because of the condition they are in. I am in favor of this because we have a newer high school, and a new middle school so we should go full cirlce and get new elementaries. The benefits could be substantial and could cataplut Massillon City Schools Academic numbers. Also as with the buildings in the past newer buildings are easier to update with technical upgrades than older buildings. It is easier to run CAT5 though newer walls than concrete walls. Some of these schools do need upgrades and replacements. I have pictures in the past and I was told there is footage showing the condition of some of the school buildings in the film Go Tigers! I am somewhat disappointed this will not be put on the NOV Ballot.
