"Take a whirlwind look at the 1970s through the music, footage and personalities from the time. HISTORY ROCKS pairs unforgettable news stories from the '70s with blockbuster songs from the same era."

I was young in this era. Some of the events I remember firsthand. Others I learned about years later. It's not as in-depth as many of the History Channel's documentaries (several events are covered in an hour) but it uses real footage combined with a simple narration and original music to describe some of the largest events of the era. The two hours that have aired so far are scheduled to re-air Sunday, June 3 from 5-7 PM. Give it a shot.
