Summer Leagues are ready to begin.

Open Gyms are starting up.

If a coach is not hired soon, Booster Club members should take over the open gyms. Shouldn't be too hard to roll out the basketballs & let last years captains take over the summer workouts.

The girls will need a coach for the summer league that is starting soon.

Not getting the off-season work rolling on time will be unacceptable.

Will Darcy Huffman consider helping out the girls for the summer leagues? I believe she is the weight training teacher for the girls at Washington High so the Lady Tigers will be in good hands if she trained the team in the weight room.

The girls need to be pumping iron & shooting or they will have a tough job playing catch-up to the competition.

Don't worry Grandma....Mr. Ridgely hired a great coach...Mark Green. He hasn't coached in 15 years, but he is buddies with Mr. Ridgely...so that makes him qualified. I am sure you will be pleased with how good this hire will be.

PS...check his past...it is very interesting at best.

From this post and others on different threads, it sounds like you have issue's with Mr. Green. You are implying that Mr. Green may have a questionable past. If you know something that is worthy of protecting our students then please let us know. Otherwise, back off!!

I had Mr. Green as a teacher at WHS for 3 years and I can tell you that the girls basketball team is in good hands. He is a straight shooter and is not afriad to tell students how it is. I have seem him tell students to their faces that they are a losers and need to change how they are or else they will be going nowhere in life. He was a very good basketball player when he played in high school and I think that he will do a very good job with the girls basketball program. He really cares about his students and will do anything that he can for them if you show him respect.
