Question? With the team's lockerroom moving to the other side will we now enter the field from the opposite side as we had in the past?

There will be a set of glass double doors in the center of the locker room by the goal post. The team will entered through those doors.

I hope the players are smarter than the pigeons and don't go through the glass! Oh my, who would they charge then?

The south stands will be gone. The new locker room project is two stories.

There will be a tunnel under the field to the old locker room area so the team can run out from the same place. Heaven knows we don't want to change anything from tradition.

2/3 of the south stands will be moved to the north side.

Absolutely correct. Beaver Excavating is scheduled to start this project
very soon.

I wonder why the South End Zones were not removed before the turf work started.
Seems it would have been ideal to do that unless it is not being done till have the season since the locker rooms will not be ready until next season.

I'm still not convinced the locker room won't block some of the scoreboard. Frontrow Joe may have trouble seeing it. IMO

Donald Trump??
Also, if they are removing 2/3 of the S. End Zone... will the band still be down there this year??

They aren't moving 2/3 of the south endzones, they are removing all of it, and 2/3 will be transplanted to the north endzones. I would assume that the band will continue to sit in the south endzone this year and relocate the following year.

How are they going to sit in the south end-zone if they are removing ALL of the bleachers?

I was thinking the endzones would not be moved until the construction on the locker rooms was to begin....which I thought was next year. So, the band would sit in the south endzones for as long as they existed.

Will this tunnel area also serve as a fallout shelter?

No, that is planned to be built under the new locker room.
But only season ticket holders with yellow cards will be allowed in, with a limit of two per card.

And they must exchange their yellow cards at Elum Music for a war-time ticket.

Only season ticket holders and x-tiger players get to use the tunnel. however it is a secret compartment in the tunnel for secret meetings to be held as well. TC is the President and xtiger the chair person for all the secret meetings. They stated that if you post a negative comment about the D.R.E.A.M Project or the new locker rooms then you are automatically out of the meetings for life!! The 2nd offense gets you banned from PBTS games for 2 years and the 3rd is lifetime banishment from the program!!

Shhh......we're not done yet. We are forming a committee to ask for the donation of any old gym floors that might be available to use as flooring in the secret meeting rooms.
I say "rooms", because along with the one mentioned above, there will be another secret room that only ..............

New locker room to break ground soon. Bleachers moved to North end to enclose stadium. Locker rooms will take up whole south endzone. Players exit under south goal posts. Student section comes down to south end. Field has to be done first so team can practice. Construction will take place as season goes on including state championships. Some of ya need to get a life!

OK, dumbo question.
The the whole south end zone comes out, how can the student section be moved there?
Do you mean the south end of the west stands, instead of the north end?
I'm not sure that would be smart, since the old ladies there need to be close to the restroom.

I agree. If you move the students from sections 1 and 2 to sections 5 and 6, you will hear it from some of the folks in section 4 - especially if you put the band back in the main stands where they belong.
I would suggest that this change not be made until next year so that people be given the opportunity to take "defensive action".

I have had season tickets in section 5 for 30 years. I don't want to move. I like being near the aisle and the restroom and really don't want to sit by the student section.

Maybe a better plan would be to move the band and the students to the north endzone with the new(relocated) stands? That way the fans could see the student section get excited and hear the band playing like we do now.

The Tiger locker room and indoor practice facilities will be similar to those of the University of Louisville (even better in some aspects). The scoreboard WILL NOT be obstructed by the locker room complex. The brick and wrought iron fencing will be similar to that at the University of Michigan, although not as elaborate. When asked about whether the band and/or student sections will move, officials said they haven't made a decision on that yet. They have time to do so.

I gotta ask... what's up with everything being like louisville? Not that I am complaining, far from it, it just seems like after everything they add the words... just like louisville pop up. I am just wondering if the designer or architect went to Louisville or something lol.

I think crackerman is designing the new buildings. Actually I think they were the closest school w/ facilities similar to what the designers / builders want to accomplish. No sense driving/flying across country when all you gotta do is go a couple hundred miles. My guess is if Michigan had these types of facilities our would be the exact same given JD's love of that program.......

The wrought iron fencing will be similar to that of Michigan (although it will have curbing instead of brick at the bottom). The facilities of several universities were reviewed. One of the locker room concepts was taken from a facility in Texas. People have collaborated about what they liked from various facilities. Yes people liked what they saw at the University of Louisville and will use some of those elements.
Again we are BLESSED to have our facility being talked about in the same breath as D-1 universities.
