Congrats BJ!!!! I have no doubt that Lexington will have a difficult time retaining your services after a couple of seasons with you at the helm!
One game at a time buddy!

Big-play Minutemen stop Warriors

News Journal
LEXINGTON -- B.J. Payne promised exciting football when he took over as head coach at Lexington this season.
Eric Jordan and Antonio Pickens made Payne a man of his word Friday night.
The Minutemen overcame six fumbles, an interception and 82 yards in penalties to stop Ontario 43-19 in a nonconference game.

The 8th turnover came on a botched punt where the punter just simply DROPPED the ball on his steps to punt! and it was returned to the Lex 10 yard line.
I am sure the "Lex Boys" appreciate the support. They have Shelby this week in a huge non-conference game for them as they have lost to Shelby by 25+ the past 2 seasons. From what I hear....Payne and Studer were quite the duo to watch on the sidelines with their mannerisms (sp)...lol. Can't expect the kids to play with emotion if the coaches do not coach with emotion!

Sounds like they have the "Eye of the Tiger."
