NFL considers adding 17th game to season

Or does it mean pushing the Super Bowl back a week to the second Sunday in February? Or leaving the title game where it is and eliminating the week off between conference championships and the Super Bowl?"

Sixteen is a nice even number. Why not just continue playing a preseason game or two there? This is the "National" Football League, not the World League of American football.
