Maverick wont be open

Maverick (the new roller coaster at Cedar Point) wont be running anytime soon. 3 pieces of track comming out of the launch in the tunnel needs to be replaced before the ride can open to the public. Cedar Point doest expect the ride to open till sometime in June. For more information visit www.cedarpoint.com

WHAT!!!! Their having the Sr. class visit to Cedar Point on MOTHERS DAY?!!
I say BOO!! to that!! They should be at home to spend that special day with their mothers, not at some amuesement park!

LOL, settle down there Raptor! It was, in fact, us mothers and dads ,at least the ones who show up for the planning of the Senior classes activities and AfterProm party planning, that settled on the date.

It normally would have been the Sunday after prom per tradition, but there were no busses available on that day (we provide transportation for those who want it for a small fee) and were pretty much left with no alternative as to other future events scheduled on future Sundays.

We are Fine with it!
