The MCS website used to suck and was seldom updated.
I don't know if he had anything to do with it, but since Blosser came on board the site has been revamped and is well worth dropping in on once a week.
I didn't see a link on our homepage, so here it is:

http://www.massillon.sparcc.org/

For instance there are currently articles being displayed about a myriad of accomplishments that our students have made.

This one is near and dear to my heart:

http://www.massillon.sparcc.org/index.php?mact=News,cntnt01,detail,0&cntnt01articleid=89&cntnt01origid=15&cntnt01returnid=15

(One of my little darlings will have her picture hung in the Hall of Fame that covers the walls on the way into the auditorium.)

Signed,
MProud Poppy

I am very proud to see the website doing so good.

I know I have been trying year after year to get student writers in conjunction with the school system to contribute to the site. It never happened. But what I am seeing is very positive.

Kudos to whomever is responsible!

GO TIGERS!

It was an underutilized resource. It looks much better.

Congrats to Stephanie and thanks for posting the site also. I always refer to the school's calendar online but that is it. I also have personal reasons to see the articles, as I wondered if the paper printed anything about the NTHS, or perhaps I just missed it. But at least this is better than nothing to have for scrapbook purposes.

Funny thing, I was reading the article and one of my relatives is in there... Serenity Cindia.. She's my cousins kid....It's weird how other peoples kids make you feel old...

That's good to know... doesn't suprise me...I never get to see them anymore(my cousins) It's hard to get down to Massillon just to see the games, so there's not much time to visit, maybe I'll make it a point this year.... none of are getting any younger...Wish we would go on a 10 hour day/4 day week at work, then I could just come down there early and hang out and relax...anyway, thanks for the update..

You are welcome. I went to school with Howard, he was a year younger than I. It is kind of sad how these days it seems that it is harder and harder for families, especially extended, to get together and keep up with one another. It was much different when I was growing up, but it's just the way of the world now.

She has always called me "Poppy" instead of Dad.
There probably isn't anywhere on LWE that she wants to go for a treat. She would prolly choose El Camp's. But, after the award ceremony her little 11-year-old bro took her to Friendly's to celebrate. (Then he came home and presented us with the bill and said we owed him the money.)

We will take her out next week after the Senior Awards Ceremony. She is up for Miss Massillonian, and a slew of scholarships.

Stay tuned!

(BTW, for the record, I'm not a native. I was born in Warren, and went to Jackson.)

Still not working?

I have nothing to offer. Maybe the site was offline when you tried?

With mention here, they probably have a couple of hundred times the hits than they used to.
(Awkward sentence.)

Let me know if your troubles continue.

Anyone else have problems?
