Good luck to this young man. I'll get to see him twice a year playing in the NFC South. Read the article in the Inde Online. What a great, supportive family. I wish him the best, well except twice a year!!

It was a CB from UNLV with a questionable background. Alleman would have been a good pick for the Browns.

Congrats to Andy! The Saints didn't have a bad overall draft. Having Reggie Bush, Deuce McCallister and Antonio Pittman in the same backfield has to scare some people.

Too much talent in one backfield. If Pittman delivers in camp I'll be Deuce gets traded - one of them will get shipped out - unless the Saints are the new Broncos...

That was him !!

I really don't see him getting drafted

And his reasoning !!

I wasn't taking a shot at him I just figured the linemen from bigger colleges were more likely to get taken

Yeah I messed up there but Pittman isn't near as good as Reggie or Deuce

Please do not underestimate the qualities of Pittman. He will be hungry and determined to make his mark in the NFL. Bet he makes the team and produces because the way NO plays offense everybody touches the ball under Shawn Payton. he is just the type of back that fits the system--he can catch out the backfield and runs between the tackles and on sweeps to get on the edge. He was a big reason why OSU won as many games the last few years.

Andy is in a good siuation with a young hungry team with alot of talent.
Great job Andy.

I'm not taking a shot there is a reason that Reggie Bush was the number 2 pick overall in last years draft and Ricky Williams was traded so the Saints could make Deuce a featured back unlike Pittman who left college a year early because the writing on the wall said if you stay Chris Wells will get more carries next year and ended up being taken on late.

Apples and oranges because Pittman still would have been a top 5 Rb in college next year and OSU will run more often in 2007 than 2006 so Pittman would of had plenty of carries to impress the NFL scouts. He left school early for financial reasons--remember his mother could not afford a ticket to the championship game. So like I said this young man is driven by finances and the love of football--- alot of similarities to Reggie Bush in that regard and I think he will be a fine NFL RB for years to come. BTW--- Duece has only maybe completed 2 out of 6/7 years without injuries that sidelined him for 4 or more games. In the NFL you need 2/3 RB's to make it through the seson. 4.4 speed and benched better than all the top RB's in the draft so please do not count out this kid!! I am a betting man if you would like to put something up!!!
