An article of great interest as bball is getting ready to get underway around here finally.
A note to anyone who may be in the market for one of these bad boys; we priced around and went on Ebay and got a pretty good deal for a "NEW IN WRAPPER EASTON STEALTH BCN4 33/30."
Even though pricey, at $256 (including shipg.) it was a good deal cheaper than the $345. to $375 they are asking in the stores. And I think my son is in love, LOL!
Just for fun, I thought I would include the description. Who knew there was so much in the makings of a baseball bat:suspect:
DESCRIPTION:
CNT Carbon Nanotube technology strengthens composite structures, optimizing designs for maximum performance
+ Patented Extended Flex design lengthens the sweet spot by increasing the barrel flex towards the contour and end of the bat to provide maximum performance along the entire length of the barrel
+ Easton's patented Opti-Flex CNT composite handle technology provides maximum handle flex - two times greater than aluminum in the case of the BCN4
+ Patented ConneXion technology acts like a hinge to provide the most efficient energy transfer from handle to barrel for maximum bat head "whip" for a quicker bat and more power through the hitting zone
+ Patented IMX™ - Integrated MatriX technology optimizes the relationship between materials, design technologies and manufacturing process
+ BESR Certified - 2-5/8" diameter barrel and -3 length-to-weight ratio
+ Extended barrel for maximum hitting area+ Painted and clear coat finish, great looking 4 color graphics
+ Thin 31/32" tapered handle with Pro-Tack cushioned grip
