His name is Andy Alleman, and he plays right guard. He's coming to an NFL team near you in less than two weeks. He has overcome slights, snubs, biases and family crisis to stand at the precipice of possible future greatness. And betting against him might be the definition of unwise behavior for any team in need of an offensive lineman whose intensity is matched only by his potential...

One of the best articles I've read in quite some time. I wish all the best to
Andy.

I just hope he lands in Cleveland!

I'm glad we got to see Andy end his HS career at Massillon. I think we enjoyed him, as much as he enjoyed being a TIGER !!

I sat close to his father at the playoff games and the support for his son was very obvious. And they were both so proud that he was a Tiger. This is one young, a "transplanted" Tiger, that we can be very proud of. The way that he expresses himself, his head is on straight, he knows the importance of family---how could you NOT be proud of this young man? He is the kind of kid who would be a great role model for our present Tigers.

I am pulling for Andy to make a team and excel at the pro level and set an example for tigers in college and tigers who want to be great players, role models with tremendous work ethic.

I would talk to Andy and Crable every morning on their way to the weight room because Andy picked Shawn up faithfully and just think that in another year they both would have worked their way to the NFL----GREAT JOB ANDY!!!

I got to talk to Andy at the end of his senior year here and he told me that he wished he had come to Tigertown at the end of his freshman year; he loved being a Tiger and was proud of his forthcoming graduation from WHS. Here's to a bright future in the NFL for a hard working, level headed guy.
