Roger Goodall, new NFL Commissioner today suspended Pac-Man Thug Jones for the entire 2007 NFL Season. I now have a new hero. Congratulations to the NFL for saying "NO MORE" to the behavior of these spoiled brats. My only question is that it's only a matter of time before half the Bengals team gets suspended. I'm wondering whether they'll have enough to field a team by the time the NFL is done with that nursery in 'Neckinati.

CarlE,
That's Goodell...not Goodall.
PacMan Jones needed to be suspended the whole season! Low down, dirty, putrid, admonishing, corrupt, malevolent, awful, nasty yellow chomper on the field!
Thank goodness the men of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pittsburgh aren't like that bad, avaricious, dumb, arrogant, sullen, sweltering moron!!

I know this: MTown was right. Intimidation is talk. Force is action. Goodell was every bit as forceful in rendering his verdict!

Maybe now some of the NFL players will value what they have and start being real role models!!! Pacman is going to lose around $4 mil in 2007--- now thats taking food out a man's mouth! Great punishment for both players and I hope they have learned a lesson from this!!!

You hit the nail on the head Monte! Whenever I am talking with younger kids about football, I never tell them to watch the NFL. To me, they should only be watching college football to learn. I still think if they took the salaries down from where they are and had the players making around 100-150,000 per year, we'd see a different breed in that league, one's that are playing for the love of the sport and not the love of themselves!

Mass6,
Goodell sent an emphatic message and it is one well received! I also like the new rule too about banned substances that if you take a banned substance, you are ineligible for the Pro Bowl!
Goodell is going after the snakes in the grasses and he's going after them hard!

How can this be? All along the libs have been telling us that poverty breeds crime but these guys are rich.
You can't spell felon without NFL.
