at least you worked in some punctuation at the end i was starting get a little out of breath reading all of that in a row it was a little hard to follow at first but once i got into the rhythm it kind of seemed to just flow but maybe next time we could try to use a couple of capital letters just to shake things up a little

Hey eyeofthetiger!
Check this out. It's from dictionary.com:
com·ma [kom-uh]
noun
1. the sign (,), a mark of punctuation used for indicating a division in a sentence, as in setting off a word, phrase, or clause, esp. when such a division is accompanied by a slight pause or is to be noted in order to give order to the sequential elements of the sentence. It is also used to separate items in a list, to mark off thousands in numerals, to separate types or levels of information in bibliographic and other data, and, in Europe, as a decimal point.
You might try using one of these here are there.
We ALL thank you!

Lol thnx for the info i will try and use that next time.
Apparently, some people feel it's okay to ignore traditional writing standards (that's presupposing they have knowledge of any to begin with) when they create e-mails, informal memos, etc. As far as I'm concerned, when you are communicating with someone, regardless of the vehicle you use, both accurate spelling and grammar are essential. The way you communicate, whether it's verbal or written in nature, is a reflection not only of how much you respect the audience you are communicating with but also how much you care about the message you are trying to convey. If you are sloppy, then I personally am not going to put much credence in your message.
Maybe I'm missing something, but it seems to me that many youngsters (under 30), these days--and even many professionals who post on message boards can't spell or put together good sentences. What has happened? Are these people simply products of government-run schools, or is this just some kind of new fad?
However, I tend to agree that the development of good writing skills is fast becoming a lost art. People don't write letters anymore, but instead make a phone call. Fewer people read for their information gathering, opting instead to rely on television and radio. In addition, I must admit, that the public school system does not place the same emphasis on proper writing skills as they did in the past.
Some people will say the root of today's new grammar is not the education system, but our evolving technological society. Much of this is the result of IM, text messaging, or when you have 15 chat windows open,:jestera: or are using the keypad on a cell phone, you strive to find ways to abbreviate. Instead of "you," many people are simply typing "u," and failing to capitalize, when necessary. Also, "can't" and "don't" have become "cant" and "dont."
I usually give a person the benefit of the doubt, and I try not to judge or criticize them for it. It generally doesn’t bother me -- unless, of course, it becomes so incoherent that I lose all sense of what the writer may be attempting to say. However, in such cases I usually just stop trying to decipher the gibberish, and I move on to other things. (Besides, as soon as I point out a person's grammatical error, someone will respond by pointing out one of mine.):poke:
That said, I am one of the worse offenders of mangling my words or making typos you will ever see. However, I am smart enough to use a spelling and grammar checker most of the time.

Let's not forget a kid on the O-line named Arnold. He worked his tail off last year to earn a starting position. Not the biggest kid on the team but very hard-nosed and tuff! HHHHHHANK YOU!

I think we should let the coaching staff sort this out. Work ethic, attitude, and talent will all contribute to those decisions. Kids who don't get their grades in order might be seen as indifferent. Kids who miss workouts might be seen as uncommitted. All of this will be factored in when figuring out who has the drive, the will ,and the guts to be on the field.

Possibly Chad Ricker at ILB, I really have no idea though. I would like to see Dingler or Schumacher take a spot on the OL this year, they both impressed me last year in the few games I was able to see. Watch out for Denis Vargas at ILB as well, very smart and tough kid.

JV center was rotated between Krichbaum and Wade I believe, and when one wasn't at center the other was at guard. Other guards were Adam Eggenschwiler, Griffin Erlitz, and I forget who else. But in the middle I feel we're pretty strong coming back. Seidler in the middle and Arnold and Obradovich the guards, I'd say we're pretty sound in that aspect. At one tackle is Reggie Comeaux and the remaining spot is a toss up. It just boils down to who comes in this off season and works the hardest. Competing for that spot is Dingler, Moose Johnson, and Schumacher. Hope this clears all questions. Veteran line + stud backs = Big year for Tigers :no1:

MTiger08,
Massillon will have the best depth at running back this season and likely the offensive line as well. I'm really going to love the tandem of Chris Thornton and Justin Turner. Thornton hammers them with power and Turner hurts them with speed. Add in Herring and three other running backs and the Tigers have six backs who can hurt opposing teams. And Thornton gets stronger as a game wears on...one of his strengths.
This team already reminds me a great deal of the 2005 AFC West champion Denver Broncos, when Mike Anderson and Tatum Bell were both 1,000-yard rushers and the Broncos led the league in time of possession and rushing yardage.

Or the 91' Tigers, obiviously there is a long long way to go to match that talent but the pieces are definitley there for a comparison to that team in terms of RB's and OL. Although before this past season there was talk that team had more offensive talent then any team in Tiger history and well we all know how this year worked out. Practice hard and stay healthy. TIG!!

Thornton is 5'11'', 170 lbs. He is powerful despite his weight. Look for him to be about 195-200 before the start of the season.

Took the words right out of my mouth. That Broncos team was smash mouth football! Much like I think we can be this year. :weightlift: If the o-line can stay healthy theres no reason each back could put up great numbers. Theres a lot of depth at all the positions on the offense except one, and its the main piece to the puzzle, but if all else fails, iso and trap will be b-e-a-utiful. :2thumbsup:

If our oline blocks and if we come anywhere close to the 4000 yards put up by McGuire, Ashcraft, and Wright in 1991 we are on our way to the title!!!! Our defense will be one of the best in the state------ if they keep working hard and DO NOT START READING PRESS CLIPS!!!

MTiger08,
Denver rushed for over 100 yards in every game but the AFC championship.
I'll be honest when I tell you this: Herring, Thornton, and Turner can all eclipse 100 yards rushing in a single game. Thornton is the Mike Anderson type, Herring is the Terrell Davis type, and Turner is the Tatum Bell type.

I'd been thinking the same thing. I don't wanna sound critical of either the coaches OR the players... but, this is high-school football; the coaches are not gonna have the players every season to run the offense (or defense) that they'd LIKE to run.
If ya got a Dennis Franklin, you run a "option" offense. If ya got a Justin Zwick, you run a "pass" offense.

I don't know if the line as a whole was slow, and we certainly weren't too big. Shane played around 245, Arnold 200, and Seidler 235. I thought we were slow on the edges, but our guards pulled decently, even with the addition of Arnold after Obradovich went down with a back injury. Seidler did well on the block backs. I hear that several of the lineman are doing various footwork drills after workouts by themselves without the assistance of coaches. If any players read this thread, can you confirm?
