I LOVE LOVE LOVE "That 1970 Season" story:smile: Those guys were my heroes and idols back then, and maybe some a bit of a heartthrob:love: ,LOL!
I feel so fortunate to have been able to experience all of that from a student's perspective. The halls of WHS were just filled with a certain kind of aura, which I sincerely hope and wish for our future Tigers and students to soon experience again!

I didn't know that's where he ended up. What does he do there, Harper? #22 was one of the best EVER to play at Massillon.

Harper, I am curious, are you the same Harper that I watched on WHS's television channel last night during the distinguished alumni assembly?

If so, I really enjoyed that and I sense that the students did as well. If not, I still enjoyed it. lol

Based on some of his posts, I doubt VERY seriously he's the same Harper that was named Distinguished Citizen.

You never know CarlE, you never know:jestera:

But I would like to recommend viewing that segment on the WHS channel for anyone who hasn't seen it. All three alumni were very interesting people. I wish I could recall the other 2's names right now. I just wish that they didn't allow the kids to sit up on the sides and balcony of the auditorium during assemblies. When they televise it, it makes it appear that there are hardly any students there because you can't see those areas.

By the way CarlE, who knows, maybe you and TC will be among those honored someday:wink:

Their heads won't fit through the doors, for different reasons. Just kidding of course (I wouldn't be surprised to see them be honored.)

I see they still have failed to learn how to spell "Warren" over on the other site. Yeah, seeing "Worn" gets under my skin.

Btw, OB, the '57 game was still a crock and your complaining of the '88 game over here pales in comparison regarding the vast importance of the game.

Regardless, OB, I hope you're feeling better each day.

LOL, you'll love this, not only do we say Worn, but if you type Warren the bad language filter has been set to auto change it to Worn.

There are other words that change too, but I am not telling what!
