The bottom line is that Florida had way too many weapons, and besides Oden, OSU couldn't hit a shot to save their lives. Really good season for the Buckeyes. Now the only question is whether or not Oden will stick around or not.

too many first half three's when oden should have been given the ball. florida's bigs couldn't guard him and why was lighty not on brewer. I would have put lighty on corey brewer. It just wasn't osu's night. all those shots oden blocked but florida gets to alot of those lose balls and hits the three's on the scramble for the ball. oh well hopefully oden stays because the bucks will be loaded if he stays. they played alot better then the last time they played florida. tennessee quit hitting the three's in the second half were as florida didn't. good season by the bucks as this showing is better then not making it to the tournament at all. florida was in our boat when they had to play michigan state for the title a few years back. I am talking about making it to the title game for the first time. I know the bucks went in the 60's but that is way back.

It happened exactly as I feared it would happen. Bottom line is that Florida just had better, more experienced athletes. Oden was a monster underneath but had little support from the perimeter. And Florida made EVERY dang shot they had when it was crunch time and OSU was making a run. I don't feel as bad about this one as I did football because quite honestly I was expecting this. And maybe even worse than it actually ended up.

first off if you thought that this game was a blowout then i must have been watching some other game then what you watched because i didn't see a blowout.

Secondly, its not like ohio state was upset as they were in football, the gators were favored to win this game and they were ranked number 1 in the tournament from the beginning.

Last but not least, i don't remember who said or where i seen it but someone I don't know if it was in here was ripping on oden saying he never calls for the ball inside to win a game or anything like that, all i have to say is SHOVE IT!!!!!,oden came out last night and totally dominated and was calling for the ball all night down low, the rest of the team was cold from the field but oden really stepped up his game

Replays however seem to show that: 1) Gamble had his jersey grabbed on this play which could have resulted in pass interference call and a consequent Ohio first down. 2) Gamble appeared to land inbounds, again a first down. With a first down Ohio State would have been in a position to run the clock out and win the game without it going to overtime. Instead they had to punt and Groom punted the ball 44 yards.
