Conservation

I wanted to know what you guys think about Conservation and how important do you think it is?
As you may know the government of Uganda has approved the destruction of 7-30,000 acres of protected rainforest in Uganda. The impact to the enviroment, ecosystem,and wildlife will be huge. The loss of their natural habitat continues to decline thier numbers. More and more are being killed by humans who develop and move in thier habitats. Sorry to rant but I wanted your views on this issue and conservtion as a whole.
