Bring back Al McGuire! I loved that guy! Can Korheiser (sp)?

He's been offered a college job at ESPN/ABC.

Theismann's whole "schtick" last season appeared to be to disagree with everything Kornheiser said. He was a Hall of Fame player, is an OK broadcaster and reportedly a tough human being to be around.
While going through divorce proceedings he allegedly said he committed adultry because "God wants Joe Theismann to be happy."

Wow, this is pretty harsh.

Theismann...I loved what he said about my Pittsburgh Steelers during a game against the Cleveland Browns in 2005 at Heinz Field. I don't want to repeat it though as Kamd50 might throw the hammer down on me again (it had to do in reference to the Steelers and their style of play in the 70's).

I prefer to hear about their style of play in January and February, 2007.

Keno, the Steelers suck.

MTown,
Coming from a Pittsburgh guy: do me a favor and go tell the Dog Pound to plaster, incinerate, smoke, slash their pants. When will the Browns get their stuff together and contend in the AFC North? What a bunch of big, inconsistent, thoughtless, clueless, hated, egotistical, sadists......
Since 1999: Pittsburgh 14 wins, Dog Pound 3 wins. And I'll always love Theismann for his comment! GO STEELERS!!!!!
Now go finish watching the fights......

Do you know how much superior Pittsburgh's tradition is to their rivals?
Keno, I'm gonna be nice and pretend I did not read that. Please take the time to think about what you just wrote, and edit it.

Keno even with their mediocrity since returning, the Browns still lead the series.

MTown,
Ok, I edited my last post. You won't get an argument from me on this: Cleveland dominated the 80's in going to three AFC title games (Bill Cowher was a special teams coach for the Browns in all of them).
Since the 80's...it's been a different story.........
But let me ask you a serious question: Just how many titles did the Browns win BEFORE the Super Bowl era?
longtimefirsttime,
The series is 55-55. Pittsburgh has won the last seven (along with two playoff wins in 1994 and 2002).

And you see what happened to Theismann, right:rock:

Wow, for the first time ever I have to admit Keno is right. The Browns and Stillers are tied at 55 apiece. Not exactly a domination though.

Keno, "go smoke....slash their pants??? Sounds like you are the one smoking something:stars: And by the way my friend, I cannot wait until you have to eat those ridiculous words you are spewling. Just like when it comes to OSU Buckeyes and Michigan who?

Kamd50,
God help me. He's the guy that said that the Steelers would "hit you, hurt you, dominate you, and knock you out of the game" after one of the Steelers defensive players hit a Browns player hard on an incomplete pass.
Theismann's problem: You care about the health and well-being of football players. Theismann seemed not to when he made the remark.
Consider me screwed tight like a bolt in a door now that you said that. Nice catch...I gave up the big play and you took it to the house. My hat's off to you.

If Keno predicts a win for one of his teams, you pretty much know it's going to be a great day. Sorry, back to Joe.
