I admit I'm surprised they picked the Tigers on top (ahead of Buchtel, Hoban and Walsh). I feel they've slighted the Tigers in the past (both in the polls and their coverage). But when they're coming off an appearance in the State Title game, it's hard to pick anyone else.

Something is definitely wrong out there when both the friendly Akron and Canton papers rate the Tigers #1. I thought the only way that could happen was if all area schools except Massillon dropped football.
