FYI
I just talked with Jeff Lab (AD at McK) and according to him there is no JV McKinley game this weekend.
The web site masssillontigers.com
http://massillontigers.com/schedule.htm
lists a McK-Massillon JV game for Saturday.
Jeff said he is looking to schedule a JV game with Massillon this season, but so far there is still no date.

The Jeff Lab that graduated from Massillon with me in 1976 and played for the Tigers? If it is one and the same, there is an a$$-kicking that is going to take place when I get up there. Boy does this one have me going.

Marie!
The last time Massillon and Canton McKinley played on a Labor Day was back in the 2003 season when Massillon won 28-14. I was at the game with my dad and Massillon used a 97-yard touchdown pass to go up two scores at the start of the fourth quarter (at Paul Brown Tiger Stadium)!
I believe they also played last season on Labor Day (I'm not sure) and Massillon won 16-8.

Wait a minute there, Chief. If the last time they played on Labor Day was back in 2003, then how could they have played last Labor Day? Come on, McKinley grad get with it up there!!!:drinkem:

Yes it is one and the same WHS graduate and former Tiger. My wife saw his parents last week and they told her he was coaching at McK. Don't worry though he's too nice a guy to hurt you.

He won't hurt me!!! I'll tell Debbie to take care of THAT situation!! Thanks for the clarification, DB135.

Al,
You can't make anyone happy all the time. But that's perfectly OK with me.

Keno, even though you can drive me crazy with your McK and Steelers b.s., (and you KNOW you do)...... I gotta give it up for ya when it comes to the way you handle some posters' remark (even my own sometimes) and your good attitude:drinkem:

Kamd50,
I appreciate the touching words. It's more Steelers b.s. I peeved you off with  !
One distinction that sets me aside from others is that I always carry myself with a positive demeanor. I'm like a Holyfield kind of guy...I can take numerous amounts of punishment but I know when to give punishment in return.
At times people are critical of me and my synopsis. But you never see me flame up at anyone as I don't believe in that kind of thing. It's about how you handle yourself when you are in the eye of the storm. If you let people antagonize you...then you're not made for standing up to pressure. If you don't worry about what others say, then you can stand up to anybody. That is what I have learned about myself the last five years.
A good example of a positive demeanor is Massillon Tiger football. The program is at it's peak mainly because when they were in the eye of the storm, they showed that they were the tougher football team in historic wins over Cincinnati Elder and Cleveland St. Ignatius before knocking off two undefeated teams and nearly a third in the playoffs! They never worried about what the harshest naysayers said, even after a near-decisive setback in the regular-season finale!
That said...here's to a successful and prosperous 2005 season :drinkem: !
P.S. I also have to credit my mother...she's the big reason as to why I am the person I am today. She always tells me that "you can't always go through life having a bad time."

Oh Lord.......... what can one say????? Listen Keno, concerning your "signature".... In my opinion, one shouldn't be so concerned with the external as they should be with the internal. People should judge others by what's on the inside. That's what REALLY matters .
Here's to another extraordinary year for THE Massillon Tigers of 2006:drinkem:
P.S. go back and fix your typo on the year,Keno, lol!

Kamd50,
You found my soft spot: my obsession for three-piece suits! Maybe I need to go down to Linde's in Massillon and start looking at some of their suits.
I listen to this song when I'm putting on one of my three-piece suits. From a vivacious, aspiring, nice, excellent, sweet, superb, awesome, worthy, intelligent, likable, loving, irresistible, approachable, motivated, songstress!

I'll take your lead on the signature! Can't wait for the big tailgate!!
