The Cav's have beaten up on Utah tonight to make it 8 in a row. They had 61 rebound which James had 17 of them.

The most popular chant Saturday night was "Booooozer is a loooooooser!"

Lebron just missed a triple double and led the team in points, rebounds, steals, blocks and assists.

Hopefully Phoenix will knock off Detroit today, so that Cavs can get within a game and a half !!:rockin:

I Love the Cavs! 18-9 against the west, our next game is at charlotte. Then we get Dallas at home! I can see us winning the #1 seed if we keep up this type of play.

Sorry to disappoint the MP and Cavs faithful but Cleveland WILL NOT beat Detroit in a 7 game series----Period!! They are still a year or 2 away from the Eastern Conference Championship and Detroit will win the East!!! Since Detroit got C-Webb they are 12-3 counting the lose yesterday--they are the premiere team in the East!
When C. Billups returns the Pistons will start pulling away for the pack!!!!
Any Takers on a Detroit/Cavs playoff match up!!! call it and I am in--- Detroit in 6 games if it goes down!!

monte81,
Seems like you and I will be winning respective wagers. I agree with you that Cleveland will have a tough time defeating the Pistons in a potential series. You might add the Washington Wizards and the killer, assassin, master, dagger, 50 score machine known as Gilbert Arenas (it will be hard for the Cavs to KO the Wizards in a series two years in a row).
The only way Cleveland will avoid the Wizards is if they can gain the top seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs...right now the Wizards are #3.
And I already wagered MTown a Subway extra value meal that he'll be giving me soon when San Antonio (my pick) turns back Phoenix (MTown's pick) in a potential playoff series.

Longtime what ever happen to Richfield Coliseum. I been there for 4 games. I follow the Cav's since 1970 when Austin Carr and Lenny Wilkens was with them.

The place where the Cavaliers played reverted back to where deer and rabbits romp in the wild.
The Richfield Coliseum outside Cleveland was torn down in May 1999. It went unused from October 1993 until it was destroyed. It was eventually bought by the State of Ohio. It sits in the middle of the Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area.

It's a shame what happened to Nick Mileti's Coliseum. I remember when Frank Sinatra opened the place in '74, followed by the inspiation for Rocky (Wepner vs. Ali), followed not too long by the "Miracle in Richfield" in '76, led by Bill Fitch, AC, Bingo Smith, Jimmy Cleamons, Campy Russell, Jim Chones, Jim Brewer, Footsy Walker, Dick Snyder, and, of course, venerable Nate Thurmond (with an assist to Joe Tait).
I ended up getting tickets to the final game (6) against the Celtics- it's a shame Chones broke his foot before the series started. I came out of that Coliseum deaf.
In another two years, the Cavs were back to "normal" and worse-than-normal (under Stepian).
As for this year, I have confidence the Cavaliers will follow the usual pattern of hope followed by despair.
"And when the pressure's on and the game is almost through....

cavs have recently started to pull it together.i`m positive the reason they`re winning is the move to play larry hughes at point guard. i still feel to be a true contender they need a true point guard and a #2 guard who can hit the 3 consistantly, aka reggie miller type player. also i`m not too crazy about mike brown as a head coach and if this goof takes hughes off the point when gibson returns, he should be fired asap.

Lebron took quite a spill last night. Tigervic, I used to love that song. That was right up there with "Indians Fever."

Ah, the ol' Coliseum.
I'd only seen ONE NBA game there; the '82-'83 Phila. 76ers (Dr J, Moses, Dawkins, Cheeks, & Toney) vs the Cavs.

That's a rough night (losing in OT and falling three spots in the postseason seedings).
