Yes, CarlE, we love him too. Why you may ask? Simply because he removes all the stress and tension of the Ohio St. and bowl games. No matter how big of a lead or how we outplay them, we know in the conclusion of the game, we will be on the short end of the score. Thus, why get all stressed out when you know the outcome before the games begin.
However, SOMEDAY soon this will all come to an end. You see, the UM president doesn't consider a tie with OSU as a "victory." The alumni are getting a little "antsy" to not be stressed before these last two games.
Btw, look for a GREAT BIG MEECHIGAN VICTORY on November 17th.

Orangeblood,
We are very often on the same page but UM will beat OSU in 2007!!!!! I am taking the 1st 5 bets with wagers or drinks!! BRING IT!!!! Mr. Crable, Hart, Henne, and Manningham will lead UM to victory!!!
This year its in the BIG HOUSE and Tressel's magic at OSU is wearing off!!

UM should win. they are loaded with upperclassmen, the game is at their home, and OSU lost most of their starting O to the NFL. predicting a win this season is no great prognostication. but, we still have something UM doesn't - Jim Tressell. go bucks!!

That's what Urban Meyer said about Tress! Just kidding!:jestera:
When many Buckeye supporters wanted Glen Mason, I always thought they'd be missing the boat if they didn't choose Tressel. He is a GREAT coach.

Thank God we didn't get Glen Mason.
I'm curious to see who Michigan goes after. This is a very important decision for them. They need to upgrade their facilities to really be able to attract top flight talent. Having Izzo at MSU doesn't help either.

Michigan was virtually dealt the "death penalty" in basketball and seems to have a hard time shaking that image. They were one of the elite programs for many years. Bill Martin, the AD, is supposed to be a "basketball guy", so we shall see.
Yes, they need to upgrade Crisler Arena in a big way. There are a lot of well-heeled alumni who are tired of losing and would be willing to send some big bucks to refurbish it or, better yet, build a new arena.
Izzo is very good but Michigan is Michigan and with a concerted effort, they should regain their tarnished reputation.

They reportedly are interested in UNLV's Lon Kruger.
