It seems to be the way things are going with people in the public eye -- politicians, entertainers, sports figures, etc. They make these stupid remarks and then try to blame it on -- “I didn’t mean it -- It was just a joke -- I didn’t say it right -- I had a spicy taco for lunch --, whatever.

A lot of times it really is their true feelings coming out. I hope not in this case.

there are certain things you joke about...kids doing drugs is not one of them!!!...too many lives are ruined by them...and these people, whether they want to or not, are looked up to as role models for our kids...every adult is a role model..good or bad...and this guy is the worst, imho

He should have said, "hey kids don't get this haircut." He was probably doing something to get noticed since most fans wouldn't even know he's on the roster. It was a stupid thing to say.
