Great camera work. This remarkable aircraft and its pilot demonstrate what I thought impossible for a high speed jet fighter. In the SU-30MK, Russian aviation has surpassed that of the US and its NATO allies. This truly impressive fighter can stall from high speed flight to stop in less than a second. It can fall back on its tail, without compressor stall, and go into a flat spin and recover in less than a minute. There is no aircraft in any country's inventory that could stand up to it in a dog fight."

Just because we have a lot of pride in our military does not mean we still can not be shown something to make us re-think or go back to the drawing board, or basically copy off someone else. Remember the Clint Eastwood movie: "Fire Fox"? We stole that craft from the Russians in that movie. In the movie "Hunt for Red October" it was a Russian submarine that could sneak up on America using a "Caterpillar" drive system instead of propellars.

I may be wrong but at last look we may / may not have these things or some prototype somewhere the general public does not need to know about.

I could be wrong, but at the end of WWII, the Germans built a super tank called the MOSS (Maux), that could out do the Panzer tank and the Tiger tank. Those tanks alone gave us fits. Thank goodness it was too little too late for the MOSS. It was absolutely huge, and there were only a few built.

We need to remember it is dangerous for us to assume the arrogant role, that we as Americans are the only ones entitled to hold such a claim. Once we hold such a title, that is when we fall. Let us be as we are, alert, improving, innovative and constantly striving to be the best and never rest on our accomplishments, because that is when someone else passes us by......
