Mixed emotions here. I am a firm believer in the purety of baseball, which would mean using wooden bats. However, I've read NUMEROUS articles that basically say there is no pertinent data to support the premise that aluminum bats are any more dangerous. I DO believe though that past the 14-16 year age group that metal bats should be banned. Data or not, the power that this age group exudes just makes me believe that it IS more dangerous to use metal bats than the traditional wooden bats.
