exactly! i guess they don't get the fact that the movie is about entertainment. heck, you don't have to be an expert to look at the film and point out that there are many factual inaccuracies....like, say, the creatures in the film.

Their religion is based on capitalizing on people's ire over ancient events.

Here is a short lesson in the history of said religion.

Once upon a time, long ago in a land far far away there was this town drunk that spent all day sitting under the trees in the park. After a while he began to realize that if he wanted to continue his lifestyle without actually working he needed to come up with an idea.

He decided to invent a religion and get the people behind him.

Way back when, some guy named Abraham had supposedly disinherited their ancestors from the promised land because his wife was pissed off about him getting the maid pregnant.

He fabricated a plan to form a new religion based on them getting their land back. He used lots of hate and jealously directed toward the ancestors of the other kid (the one old Abe had by his wife), and soon got his religion going with him as the head, thereby securing not only his easy-going lazy lifestyle, but also his place in history.

To this day, it's all still real simple.

Be jealous of the Jews.

Hate the Jews.

Deny yourself everything, including life itself, to get even with and kill the Jews.

Hate and kill anybody or anything that is not on your side in getting the Promised Land back. This is defined as anybody or anything that is not Muslim.

The religious leaders of today follow the example of the guy that made it all up to secure their own little fiefdoms and life of Arabic Riley.

They use hate and jealously over ancient events to fuel the perpetuation of the insanity.

Only the US can stop them.

(Just like only the US could stop Hitler, who when you really think about it, sort of patterned himself after Mohammed.)

Get over it. Persians, Ancient Greeks, Barbarians, Christian crusaders, the Roman Empire, Mongols, Germans, Japs, etc etc, are ALL depicted that way in various points in history. We all did some crazy a$$ violent stuff. We know it. Facts are facts. The difference is we outgrew it.

Religions of the world (eg, Christianity, Judiasm, Taoism, Shinto, Hinduism, Buddhism, etc.) promote brotherly love, peace, & harmony with God & nature; and give one a sense of purpose in life and comfort after our earthly demise.
