LakeCountyTiger,

Well, Mentor may be the "Earthquake Capital of Ohio" (12 or more in the last 2 years, I think), but tonight it was Twinsburg's turn.

Sitting at my desk, working on a report...and whammo...

I'll never freakin' get used to it.
This is only my third one.
It still freaks me out.

3.6...epicenter about five miles southeast of my office...

Hey Seeker, don't forget all the freaking snow we get because of being right on the lake. But back to your statement I have a good one for you now that we're talking about earth moving. The nuke plant is built right on a fault line!
We're told it's not a problem... well no, as long as the earth doesn't open up and suck the thing in. I'm still getting used to the idea of everyone having a stash of Pottasium Iodine pills in case of a disaster, helps protect your thyroid.
I remember a quake back in the 80's it actually moved my waterbed (hey, I was newly divorced, what can I say), scared me to death, I thought the spirits were messing with me.
Anyway, when there's one quake, there could be more, so be prepared...

The Cleveland news media put crawls on the screen and were hyping it tonight.

It was a 3.6 magnitude quake. No one in my household felt a thing, including the dog who continued his nap. But apparently news stations and law enforcement agencies received many calls.

Center of the quake was Portage County.
