After all he called him a "dynasty" coach and said this about him.


This can all be ended by agreeing that it is foolish to think he would ever return to a program at which he was fired to become an assistant. Pure foolishness.

You guys just don't get it I guess.

If you even knew what it was like to be the leader in charge of all those dynasties, you too would know the toll that it takes on one's mind and body. Taking an assistant job will allow him to recharge his batteries before taking over a major DI program.

All I can say is if Rose is hired I hope we will be saying that he has a championship as an Head Coach at STA and as an asst. at Massillon at the end of the year.

IMO this would be a good hire for the program because I always said J. Rose could be an asset on our defensive side of the ball.

I don't think there is much dispute as to his asst. coach abilities. Its his head coaching that has drawn the heated debates.

All kidding aside, this has been a poorly kept "secret" for the past few days and when it's formally announced Tiger fans need to handle it with class. I'll be the first to say ALL of my posts regarding this will be positive!
