At the time of this post, it's still unknown if there was a winner of the MegaMillions jackpot (there was a computer problem Tuesday night). If you were the winner, what would you do with the money?

I would fix it so my family was set for life with a "guaranteed revenue stream" and then retire. I would head for Schumacher homes and start planning our dream house. I would sit down with a roll of stamps and pay off every darn bill I have. Oh, and did I mention a visit to my favorite car dealership with cash in hand? No financing discussions would be necessary. Oh, and let me add that I would hire a personal dietician and trainer for my household...

I'd would have paid off our bills, bought new cars, donated some $$ to the booster club, and sat on the rest of it.

Since I didn't win, I guess I need to make friends with the winners in Georgia and New Jersey

After I knew that I had a winning ticket I would immediately visit an attorney and set up a trust. The money would be accepted by a hired representative and transferred immediately to the trust in order to minimize tax implications and protect my family’s privacy as much as possible. I would then make a visit to my financial advisor and hire him to work for me exclusively. His goal- make me rich with the interest from the trust holdings.

Then life would change. Dump the jobs. Travel the world. Build a magnificent home or two and then get down to business- giving part of the holdings to charities I deem worthy.

Living large and helping others. Yup, that would be the life for me!

Oh, do I need to buy a ticket first?

The first thing I would do is hire my friend who makes a great Santa to dress in costume and anonymously deliver $100,000 to Mr. Mark and Ms. Carrie's house so they could adopt four kids that they so much deserve to have.

Ok....first of all I'm going to any sporting event that I want to, whenever I want to, where ever I want to.

After doing all the good investment stuff so I can make a lot of money off myself and then roll like a baller...

I would then set up an athletic department trust fund that would be specifically designed to send Massillon athletes to college. You earn a letter for Massillon...you get a scholarship. Done. You want to attract kids to Massillon? That would get it done.

I would go on a whirlwind sports tour that would include the Super Bowl, Daytona 500, March Madness, the Masters, the World Series and OSU/Michigan. I would donate some to my favorite charities. Family related needs would be met. Friends would be happy they were my friends when I wasn't rich. I would freely donate my time and monies to help provide better academic and athletic opportunities in Massillon. I would likely buy two homes, one in Massillon for my primary residence and a vacation home elsewhere. Much of the money would be put in interest bearing accounts, so family would be set for a long time.

First off I would call my attorney to make sure I could remain nameless to the public to make sure the snakes stay in their holes!!!
1. I would have my attorney pay off every single penny i owe or thought I owed to become completely debt free. Also start a porfolio for investment options---percentage of ownership of a pro franchise maybe--behind the scenes or invest in Microsoft and grab up some real estate!! Make more money!!!
2. I would draw up certified checks for my immediate family for 1 million each to start business adventures(this would be a 1 time payment)and set up college funds for my children, nieces, and nephews as well as put them up a nest egg. take care of a few friends that have always been down with me as well.
3. Remodel my moms house with all new furniture or build her a new one--her choice! I would ask her to retire from MPS to help me with #6 and pay her off right now.
4. Donate money to all the churches in the Massillon community and Katrina victims.
5. Donate to the MPS and give money for further academic and athletic improvements.
6. Build a free community center in Massillon for everyone to enjoy staffed by myself.
7. Start a record company to distribute all the great acts in Stark County that have gone unnoticed for several years.
8. Go on vacation for the 1st few months while my attorney got all the proper paperwork in order.
9. Volunteer to assist in any capacity for our football program to keep on top!!!
