It should of been his buddy G. Bush!!! Maybe then he would see that the war in Iraq is useless and stupid and we are GAINING NOTHING but lose of soldiers lives and limbs. The treatment our troops are getting from all forms of Govt. is pathetic. Let the President, VP, congress, and the House lead a few infantry squads through the desert and see what its like. Most of them dodged the Vietnam war anyway! We still not have given ALL troops Armored jackets---thats standard issue for all soldiers at Peacetime!! As soon as we leave from over there it will be crazy and uncontrollable--- its like that now.

Our Govt. cannot maintain and fight a war or take care of the victims of Hurricane katrina! What is the US developing into???????

to this day i don't understand why the local govt. of New Orleans as well as Louisiana gets a free pass for the response to Kitrina. they live next to an ocean. certainly they must have thought a hurricane was a possibility. how could they have been so un-prepared? they knew it was coming.
you can blame our president for the response to it all you want, but the fact remains the local governmnt there let those people down much more that the federal govt. did.

1. The local govt. cannot raise the levy so it can be safe--thats our Army Corps of Enginners ordered by federal govt. not local. It still aint up to code and our federal govt. and our President will not grant the money.

2. The state of LA has been fighting the federal govt. for years to get a cut of the oil revenue like the states of Texas, Colorado, New Mexico etc,... get but our govt. refuses to grant that money----they could be a US version of Saudi Arabia if our govt. was not sealing all of the revenue--I have done the research. 20% of all US oil comes from LA. but they cannot have the same 3% cut other states get---- who's fault?????

3. Unprepared---- City of New Orleans made mistakes but it took weeks for our govt. to send supplies, food, etc,... after the hurricane so Mr. Bush was unprepared also!!--OH wait he can just retreat to his cabin like he always does when stuff hits the roof. Bush cares more about oil and Haliburton(sp) then he does our soldiers and American citizens. His mother was down there interviewing still calling them refugees in New Orleans--they are americans also not @ucking refugees. New Orleans residents still do not have the FEMA trailers Mr. Bush promised and the one's who have them have no electricity or running water. Oprah Winfrey spent more money in LA than the president wishes to spend and it aint his money. We build new housing complexes all over the country and cannot get a few in New Orleans????? Mr. Bush dont care.

4. Have you been to Iraq???? I have and then the equipment was not the best and always needing stuff on back order---- its worse now and we will continue to lose lives. We are not even trained to be fighting in the city, buildings, etc,... why you think we were getting killed off in Somalia at a rapid pace---NO TRAINING for this type of environment.

Democrats and Republicans are all crooks and especially Mr. Bush.

I was a soldier and the way our soldiers and Hurricane victims are being treated is flat out wrong!!!!!!! America is the best Country but we still need alot of work in human relations and dignity for our own!!! We trat foreighers better than our own citizens!!!!

They are Crooks also----- let the commanders lead the way like we always have done! to much media, backlash, and handcuffs on the troops!

How many of you posters know what its like to lead a infantry squad????? Most of you do not so do not speak on it! Our troops were being scraficed before the Democrats took control---it doesn't matter like I said they all are out for themselves and career!

Infantryman without Armor
Tankers without all the fighting equip.
It do not take a brain surgeon to understand that you dont play football without a helmet so you do not begin a war without a complete tradegy or all the right equipment!:crap:

I am talking about how they cannot get equipment but our govt. keeps telling them to fight on.

I can lead a squad, platoon or company because I am built to last!!! 101st Airborne!!!!
