Maddux won his 329th game yesterday. Will another pitcher EVER win 300 games in the MLB ?? I, personally don't think so !!

C.C. Sabathia has a chance if he ever gets a closer in Cleveland. He needs to average 15-18 wins a year until he's 40, and stay healthy. His last 3 starts, he's pitched like an All-Star, but ended up with no decisions because of the bullpen.

What about Glavine? I believe that he is close, but I just heard that he might have a blod clot or something. It could potentially be a season or even a career ender from what they said.

There will be others but it will take relative continued health over an extended period of time. Obviously the game has changed and there will be fewer than there used to be.

OK, I get the "Captain Obvious" award for that response.
