Dennis Johnson, the star NBA guard who was part of three championships and teamed with Larry Bird on one of the great postseason plays, died Thursday, collapsing after his developmental team's practice. He was 52

Those were the days....Seemed liked every sunday they played the sixers or
LA! Cowens and Parish added the punch.

wow... we used to re-enact that in my back yard. the NBA in the 80's was awesome!!!

DJ had a great 14 year career and a few rings along the way. The basketball world lost a good man and person.

I agree, Monte, great guy. 52 is way too young to lose someone.

One of the best calls in NBA history. As a Cavs fan I absolutely hated the Boston Celtics. Even though I wasn't really a fan of the Lakers I always rooted for them against the Celtics. But what teams they had during that era.
