According to this morning's (8/19) Columbus Dispatch, Justin was "dinged up" with what sounds like a minor shoulder injury during a scrimmage yesterday. Former Ignatius LB John Kerr did the honors.
The article indicates that they looked over Justin briefly and he spent the rest of the scrimmage sitting on the bench.
Only wonderboy Troy Smith had the no-contact black jersey on.

I want the Buckeyes to win all their games and win the national championship, but wouldn't it be much sweeter to see Justin at the helm ?

Justin has accepted his role as back-up really well. It just shows how much of a man he is !!

I saw he was back at it last night- favoring his shoulder, but still fighting it out!

Kerr just can't get enough of Zwick. I remember Shepis leaving Kerr uncovered play after play; he just kept coming in unblocked and Zwick finally limped out, to the cheers of the Iggy fans. Zwick really came across as a tough guy to take it.

Shooter! Was Kerr "uncovered" when he played us, or, did he take advantage of our weak spot on the O line? I could be wrong, but I think Justin was forced to run for his life and take a beating at times due to our weakness at center which was definately Sheps fault for not finding an adeqaute player to protect his QB!
But hey, that was then, this NOW!:trophy:

I remember sitting in the north end zone and seeing Kerr line up at the end position with no one blocking him. It seemed like it went on forever.

Oh, come on! Ignatius fans wouldn't cheer an injury! That would be so hypocritical of them. Remember last year they said Massillon cheered when the Kirbus kid got laid out on a perfectly legal hit?
