FORGET IT, Orangeblood. You had your chance here in sunny Florida and you wussed out because of the threat of a couple of hurricanes. Now, you are forever doomed to deal with THAT mess from October through March. Hmmm, I think I'll put some shorts on and go hit a bucket of golf balls at lunch. And then we have baseball practice tonight over by the beach. It will be nice to watch sunset while teaching the youth of America the great sport of baseball in February.

Quit whining. You could be recuperating in your Gulf-front condo down in Sarasota RIGHT NOW if you hadn't wussed out and gotten rid of it. By the way, did you sell it yet?

If your first quote is true, that makes you under 21, doesn't it?

Damn, bro are you hoping a hurricane hits my area? If you've ever seen the devastation of one you would realize how idiotic that statment sounds.

Ummm...I think he was saying that as old as OB is, he might get wise soon.
Maybe OB is really OW's father?

Oh, yeah you are right. Now that I have re-read it, Great Seeker I see that you have enlightened me to the error of my thoughts. My apologies to The Wan. I misunderstood. Oh and about that father thing.....Hmmmm

OB, I'd really like to put in a call to your buddy Al Gore, and ask him where in the world is this global warming? GEEZ, sub-zero last week, 1 1/2 feet of snow this week! BREAK OUT THE SUNBLOCK BABY! :smartass:

The concept of Global Warming is WAY misunderstood.
Under the projected model, Alaska will experience a much warmer climate, like Ohio currently has.
The change in the upper air currents will cause the Midwest and New England to actually be COLDER due to Global Warming.
That, along with all the extra ocean evaporation will cause our area in Ohio to enter another ice age when the moisture condenses into ice and snow over our area.
Florida will be like Ohio is now.
If you look at the weather in Alaska this year, and our weather the last few weeks, it's very consistent with the concept of Global Warming.
The only reason it was warm here in December was El Nino was particularly strong this year.
The overall average temperature on earth will be higher, but Ohio will be under a glacier.

Yup...
The weekend forcast for Lewiston ID is: sunny, afternoon high temps between 50 -- 55 degrees. (Honest!)
BULL$c#nitzzz!!! :notlistening:
There's NO SUCH THING as global warming. Florida isn't gonna get cold; Alaska isn't gonna become the next riviera, and my daughter's can of White Rain isn't contributing diddly to the atmospheric whatever.
Will everyone agree: outside of seeding clouds to produce local rains, we DO NOT have the scientific know-how to change the weather, right?
SO.... you expect me to believe THE ACCIDENTAL BY-PRODUCT OF OUR SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY IS CHANGING THE CLIMATE OF THE ENTIRE FREAKING PLANET???
For those of you who believe in Santa, the Easter bunny, and global warming: I've got a nice bridge over the Snake River I'll sell you at a VERY good price. It comes with an excellent view of the valley and full water rights....
