I have a question. When teams are ranked, are they ranked based on how good the team is or based on how a person believes the team will do during the season due to scheduling, etc. ?

I just saw where Jason Whitlock (who I can't stand by the way) has West Virginia ranked first because they have an easier schedule than the other teams.

I don't think that Texas will be as good as they think this year !!!:pimp:

I think OSU was as good as any team in the country at the end of the season; in fact, they probably were the BEST team in the nation.

However, they must have some fantastic defensive players who have never started before as the Bucks lost 9 of their starting 11 on D.

If Vince Young had stayed at Texas, I see them beating OSU. Without him, OSU wins.

One thing to be aware of - Tressel brings his teams along slowly and peaks:furious: at the end of the year.

Well it does make the bullseye bigger but on the positive side (assuming that voters are remain consistent) as long as they win they should not drop and will make the championship game..... So now its time to do it on the field, no excuses..... They are number one and as long as they dont give the voters reason to vote them down they have no excuses for not being there in the Fiesta Bowl....
