This is for all you tree-hugging liberals that voted in the sweeping reforms and the new Democratic-controlled Congress. Your Tremont viaduct bridge may NEVER be done now. As I said when it happened: "Be very careful what you ask for". Well you libs asked for it, and now you have it. Good luck trying to get from one side of town to the other.

I wonder if the new Democratic Congress will exclude earmarks for unwed,
unemployed mothers who continue to have more children :scratchchin:

CarlE , It would be fun saying, "I told you so", but that still isn't going to get our bridge built.

Let Orangeblood build the bridge. It's HIS folks that have put the kabosh on it. Although over on the Lair he's now blaming the Iraq war for the bridge being delayed. Goes to show you sometimes no matter how much water is in front of the horse they're too freaking STUPID to drink.

I wonder if a missing 8.8 BILLION DOLLARS in American cash would have had any effect on our national budget? Just wondering.

... blaming the Iraq war for the bridge being delayed....

I'm surprized someone didn't blame it on Wal-Mart... but blaming GWB (and the Iraq war) is just as well.

You're right Smitty my friend. In fact, you are so right I'm going over to The Lair right now and bring that very idea up to the Communist.

Maybe we need to stop depending big government to solve many of the problems we should find a way to fix ourselves, then maybe they would have the cash to help with big problems.

Don't tell OrangeBlood that. He thinks the Government, and WalMart owe him the freaking world.
