the Cleveland Indians have given radio announcer Tom Hamilton a 5 year contract extension locking him up through the 2011 season, they also have given his partner on the radio Mike Hegan a 3 year extension locking him up through 2009

I enjoy and appreciate Tom and Mike keeping me company when I cannot be near a television set or am outside gardening. Good to know they'll be around for a little while longer:thumbsup:

Hamilton is an amazing announcer. I love his style of calling the games. My only knock of him is that he always does this thing where he rips your heart out on a long fly ball.
