longtimefirsttime!!!!!!!!

You're going to make me have to re-edit what I just posted on my Pittsburgh Steelers website. Just when I thought Tomlin was the lead man...being a lead moderator myself, I should know better!

I only hope Tomlin is still the man and I won't have to re-edit my information. With a sister tandem (Emily and Lauren B.) and two guys (Mike and Jason) as my assistant mods, the deal better be done!!!!!!!!!

TigerLoverFromAfar,

I haven't heard the word gangster since the 10th week of the high school football season when a girl saw me coming out of the Luther Emery pressbox in my all-black suit and hat when she said to me "my god, you look like a gangster!"

Mike Tomlin is no gangster. He didn't do all them crimes that those Minnesota players did. He is a loving family man with a loving wife (Kiya) and children.

May the pride, persistence, power, passion, and perseverance of Dennis Miller's hometown and his church shine down on Tomlin and the 2007 Steelers!

Clueless. Completely. Tomlin is yet ANOTHER coach from Tony Dungy's stable that has the same upstanding characteristics as the rest of the coaches do. Perhaps you have heard of these guys. Herm Edwards. Lovey Smith. Tony Dungy. Good LORD. If you women are going to post on football topics could you at least FAKE that you know what you are talking about when you post?

CarlE,

You have my backing on this one. I can't wait to go to war and show my support for Tomlin as the lead man of the 5x world champion Pittsburgh Steelers!!!!!!!!!!!

I need to get to work on a mix video on the 2007 Steelers!!!!!

P.S. Tomlin was part of the 2003 Buccaneers coaching staff that won Super Bowl XXXVII.

I'm sure there are at least 30 assistant NFL coaches more qualified than
Tomlin..

TigerCoach,

Mike Tice was responsible for all the crap that happened. He needed to be fired. Minnesota hasn't been right since they got their clocks cleaned in a 41-0 loss to the NY Giants in the 2000 NFC championship game.

Things have been downhill for them since that one game.........

How could someone with "upstanding characteristics" be associated with a team like the Vikings? I like Lovie Smith, but please...Tomlin is buddies with Daren Sharper who is a bad seed. Granted Dungy, Kiffin, and Marinelli are a few impressive influences but that doesn't mean Tomlin is made of the same stuff.
I know CarlE, I know, I should get back to the laundry folding.

I'm sure I have friends that are "bad seeds" as you call them also. Doesn't make me a gansta'. Tomlin's record and citizenry speak for themselves. You MIGHT want to do some research. He was always visible in the community when he was here, much like the others we are referencing. In fact due to the fact that Tomlin is black one could certainly interpret your remark as predudicial, to say the least. Hmmm, I never thought about that until now.

Um, not in Tampa he wasn't. And I NEVER heard he had a stripper on his lap. Perhaps you are privy to information that I am not.

I think Epps has the better job on House rather then coaching the Steelers. :heee:

Come on...House is a great show.

I heard that Tomlin is the same age as Cowher when they hired him. I just hope he isn't as good against the Browns as Cowher was.

If the Steelers are unhappy...it will only be temporary. Tomlin will settle everything down.
