Anyone interested in a pro football pick'em game? If there is sufficient interest I will set it up on Yahoo. I also plan on asking our friends at the Lair. All you will need is a yahoo ID. It's free to sign up.

The league will run the length of the NFL season. You will need to set up a team and make your picks each week. The deadline is usually just a few minutes before game time. At this point, I'm thinking no point spreads, just straight pick the winner.

If it's a straight pickem I might be interested. I don't have time for a league that involves too much research or maneuvering.

When I was in the Marines we had a group of us that had a team. I'd only hope it was for some sort of prize, I came in 1st. L;L.


We can do it for the fun of it or whatever way you all want. Just let me know where to sign up.

The Lair is doing a pickem. As far as MP, that is up to obiefan. I have forwarded a potential list of week 1 games should he choose to do so.

Everyone has High School football picking, attending, rooting on their mind right now, including me. I'll have it set up later this week.

OK, it's later and I'm a little wired.

As stated, you need a yahoo id to sign up. Incorporate or use your screen name as your team name if (like me) your yahoo id is not similar to your screen name so we know who is who. There is also a small message board there that we can use to run some smack and not have to worry about the TOS of this site.

In order to join the group, just go to [Only Registered Users Can See Links.], click the "Sign Up" button (or "Create or Join Group" if you are a returning user). From there, follow the path to join an existing private group and when prompted, enter the following information...

Group ID#: 28761
Password: touchdown

It's still not too late to get in. The first game is on Thursday and picks for that game needs to be in 5 minutes before kickoff.
