That Ginn and SMith tanked it last night? 1st off, for him to miss that game, Ginn better have something broken, torn severly, or need surgery. Also, I guarantee when smith got sacked that first time and almost got his knee ripped out, he saw millions of dollars vanishing in the NFL and thus why he was scared to run or step up in the pocket last night. I feel that Reggie Bush did the same last year in the title game.

ya I agree Crackerman, Ginn better have a life threatening illness after running back a kick off 93 yards then sit out the rest of the game. Also on the smith thing he really never had a pocket to step up into. The O-Line played very bad.but being a Michigan State fan and having to take everyones crap, Im glad they got knocked off last nite!!!
Stories say that Ginn rolled his ankle in the end zone celebration after the touchdown.

They keep showing it on the news in the C-bus!! Roy Hall jumped on Ginn in the end zone and landed right on his ankle!!! Ginn was begging to play but Tressel said no because the xrays were inconclusive at the game!! He had a boot on his foot yesterday --Badly sprained foot/ankle is the first word!!
I really have no comment about Smith--the whole team didnt show up Monday!!!

I don't think anyone tanked it Monday night, but I think they lost their mental edge when Ginn went down. It seemed like they were expecting the Gators to roll over (like some girls I knew in high school!) and when they responded with 2 quick scores, the Buckeyes were in scramble mode to try and turn it on. They couldn't find the switch.

I think Ginn must have been a HUGE part of the gameplan because without him, the O couldn't do anything. Should have run Pittman more but once you get down by multiple scores the playbook gets really small.
We just got run over in that game. Things snowballed and we just couldn't do anything right.

I think it's highly appropriate that Ginn's injury came from celebration- it's a reflection of the whole game. it looked like the team came to celebrate and not work.
They didn't want it as bad as Florida.
On the side, I'm sick and tired of seeing all the "celebrating" going on- butting heads and jumping on each other (even for a routine tackle!) is STUPID and is bound to cause injuries.
Act like you've been there before. Hand the ball to the ref and get prepared for the next play.
There'll be time enough for countin' when the dealins' done!

It started with those DEs on the Gator line. They did whatever they wanted to do... the Buckeye offense (neither coaches nor players) had no answer.
