Prediction for tonight's BCS title game

OK here it is....I am 4 for 4 so far in the BCS predictions with the outright winner and 4 for 4 versus the number (as shown on the Florida vs. OSU thread). I originally had OSU winning this game 28-24.... but as it has crept closer I really do think that this game will be the swan song for many OSU players and they will show tonight, without a doubt, that they are the best team in the nation. I am switching my prediction to OSU 38 Florida 14. Dont ask how or why or say that I am nuts for thinking the national title game will be a blowout...I have a weird feeling on this one. Let's get some predictions from others as well.

I'm in the same boat, Crackerman. I feel really good about OSU's offense and the energy and opportunism of the defense. Florida plays in the toughest conference in the country and have some great athletes, but I think their offense will struggle.

I see OSU winning their 2nd National Title in 4 years by a score of 31-17.

I am going the other way. I originally thought this would be a big blowout for Ohio State...now I am not so sure we are even going to win. I still hope are, but I would not be shocked if Florida beats us. I say this for one reason. 51 days off is a ton of time...it's even worse considering what we came down from. The Michigan game this year took on a life of its own and became bigger than anything I have ever seen. It built for weeks and when we finally won, there was a HUGE exhale. And even though it's for the National Championship, I am only a fraction as excited for this game as I was for Michigan.

I first thought we'd win this game by 3 TD's.

I now think the game will come down to the final 2 minutes...with us hopefully winning by 3 points.

I was at 2 of the OSU practices before Christmas and trust me there was no rust at all. Those kids were relaxed and flying around.

As much as I am not an Ohio State fan, the Buckeyes will not only impose their championship will and tradition while relying on the strong Christian faith of James Patrick Tressel and become the first school to win two BCS national championships.

Also, Wisconsin and Penn State beat 2 teams from the toughest conference in the country.

Don't get me wrong, the SEC is a very good conference. I just think that it was overrated this year, imo.

ks4uk= how does ohio state or smith get what they deserve. the media was the ones hyping ohio state NOT ohio state. the play calling was not good at all. how is tebow going to win the heisman next year he really didn't throw all that much this year. wait and see how he handles the offense next year before hyping him up.

Yeah, I'm guilty as all sin knocking the Gators for even being in this game.
But, they opened a can of Southern SEC WhupAss on the Buckeyes in EVERY aspect of the game accept for the opening kickoff.

Ohio State had 82 yards of total offense!
