sad day for Da 'Ville as he was the one who really took the program to the next level. I do think it is about time though that a coach sticks to his contract or a University makes them stick to it. He just signed a new, very long extension prior to this year. So here's my life as a fan right now.... Pro Team- Steelers...Cowher gone. College- Da 'Ville...Coach P gone. High School- Massillon....Stacy still here.

Coaches are really getting pathetic with breaking contracts to go yo other schools or pros and so on!! Honor your contract-- when a coach is fired most of time they get paid the remainder of the contract(portion) so the same should work the other way then the departing coach should forfeit some of the already paid contract when breaking your contract to leave--fair is fair!!!! I hope Da ville has already wrapped up most recruiting-- you see alot of UC recruits in question after the departure of Dantonio and staff to MSU!

He is definitely a players coach but discipline is a question mark!

Saw on the ESPN ticker that he owes Da 'ville $1 million to get out of his deal. It's about time schools start putting these clauses in the contracts.

I heard that Krepthorpe(sp) from Tulsa is the front runner for the job. Very solid coach who has done a great job at Tulsa and runs a similar offense to Da 'Ville. I would be very happy if thats the hire.
