CarlE-From my observations, there have been some subtle differences since you were there. The amount of rap dance music has gone way up, as have the number of younger girls and guys. That increases the amount of problems (although the people listed in the newspaper article were older and should know better). There's a difference between having a good time and being totally out of control.

In the 18 years I've been with MFD I have been to your favorite old hangout the Alibi, for squad calls a grand total of twice. Neither of those calls was for anything violence related.

Since the Grand Opening of Whiskey Ranch, I have been there personally 3 times for violence related calls and I know the squads have been there multiple other times when I was off duty. Not to mention the times that the PD has been there without having to call us.....What does that tell you?

All I can say is I hope they can figure out a way to get this straightened out and continue to do business in Massillon.

For some reason, that location has always been a mecca for the stupid and aggressive. If they take the rap off the jukebox, I'll bet the problems go way down.
